To begin utilizing the B&G App efficiently, users have the option to utilize it as a standalone tool or synchronize it with their existing system. Commence by linking and registering your chartplotter with your mobile device via the app.
Discover added functionalities by leveraging the app to pre-plan routes, set waypoints in advance, or aid in navigation while on the water. Offering detailed charts, Autorouting™ capabilities, and AIS integration, the B&G App presents a robust set of tools at your disposal.
Moreover, by downloading offline charts and saving preferred routes and waypoints within the app, users can optimize their sailing experiences and make the most of their time spent on the water.
Key features of the B&G App include activation and registration of your B&G Chartplotter, a complimentary C-MAP Chart Viewer, Autorouting™ for optimal route finding, personal waypoints, track recording capabilities, extensive Points of Interest database including marinas and harbors information, marine weather forecasts, weather overlay functionality, chart customization options, GPX file import & export for easy sharing, and a distance measuring tool.
